Location: home-based with trips to Brussels and Washington

Global objective of the project:
The overall aim of the project is to support the revision process of the PEFA framework.
The requested services include analytical and technical notes on the PEFA framework and latest developments on PFM good practice. On the latter, the recent analytical work on public finance management reforms sequencing the EU has co-sponsored with the IMF should be taken into account.
Qualifications required:
1 Senior Expert in PEFA (175 working days):
• At least a Masters' Degree level of qualification in Economics, public administration or relevant field;
• At least 10 years of professional experience;
• At least 8 years of experience in public finance management;
• Experience of public finance management reforms in developing countries;
• Demonstrated experience in the analysis or use of the PEFA framework;
• Perfect command of English.
1 Senior Expert with a specialisation in a PFM area (18 working days):
• Qualification in public sector accounting or economist;
• University degree in economics or related field required;
• At least 10 years of professional experience;
• More than 5 years' experience in the field of PFM in developing countries.
