PFM in Fragile States Report
« on: July 05, 2012, 09:38:35 GMT »
The study provided a systematic review of budget/PFM reforms in eight post-conflict countries/territories (Afghanistan, Cambodia, DR Congo, Kosovo, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Tajikistan and West Bank & Gaza). It investigated how PFM reforms were affected by challenges associated with state fragility, and how far the design/implementation of PFM reforms contributed to sustainable progress in the development of PFM systems (as well as to wider state-building/peace-building).

The final synthesis paper for the study has now been published by the World Bank and is available here: http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/2012/01/16380099/public-financial-management-reforms-post-conflict-countries-synthesis-report.
