Not strictly PFM but Google have an interesting site where they are experimenting with public data sets and displays -
http://www.google.com/publicdata/home - and the first graph is a bottler. It is a time series of births against life expectancy. One of the best graphics I have seen for a long time. Some finance data in there but likely to expand.
On the same topic the World Bank has a brilliant new interface to its development data sets which is much easier to use and download than before -
