The Story of Economics
« on: March 25, 2011, 12:42:38 GMT »
Michael Blastland lays out the history of economic ideas to understand why economics goes wrong and whether it can ever go entirely right in this BBC 4 programme.  Easy for those of you with access to BBC iPlayer to listen to on

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00zfk8t

What is perhaps most interesting is the move back to looking at political economy rather than economics in isolation to politics which links in nicely to the fireside chat with Gord Evans on the PFM Board.

Enjoy!

I spotted this, but wasn't sure whether or not to give it a go. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll listen in now!

Well it's for non-economists really but still worth a listen
