GFA is looking for a PFM expert in budget preparation
Project Title: IPA – strengthening public financial management in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Project Period: Feb 2013 – Feb 2015
Duration of Assignment: 24 months
Project Description:
The purpose of this project is to improve the quality of fiscal policy and the link between policy-making and budget planning procedures, and to strengthen the public internal financial control system.
Job Description:
This expert acts as team leader and component leader for budget preparation
Qualifications and skills:
- University degree in economics, finance, public finance, public administration or similar. Advanced degrees or certification from these areas would be an advantage
General professional experience:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience from working in the area of public budgets gained in a public institution or as a consultant
Specific professional experience:
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in dealing directly with budgeting reforms in EU Member States and/or potential and candidate countries
- Experience as team leader in administrative capacity building projects
- Experience of providing training in the field of the contract, particularly coaching staff in government bodies
