Dear Expert,
The Danish Technological Institute (
www.dti.dk) has received a call under FWC lot 11 for three experts - 2 senior and 1 junior - on an assignment
"Preparation of the 2012 Swaziland Human Development Report (HDR) on ‘Governance and Inclusive Growth’", reference no. 2012/283396 - version 1.
The input required is 30 working days by the team leader; 20 working days for the complementary senior expert; and 20 working days for a junior expert. The assignment is due to start on or about February 27, 2012 and should be completed by November 2012.
The profile per expert or expertise required:- Senior experts for the chapters on (i) The role of the governance in preventing the future fiscal crisis and (ii) ‘Regulatory environment, private sector employment, and growth’.
- Junior expert for the part on Governance and trade.
Specific requirements: All: Education – Minimum M.A. in economics, public administration, or related field. Fluency in oral English and excellent writing skills are essential.
Experience of the two senior experts:- Relevant work experience of at least 10 years in human development, economic policy analysis, or governance.
- Track record in producing high quality policy oriented reports for international institutions.
- Work experience in Southern Africa is an added advantage
- Capacity to deliver output in a timely manner and ability to use relevant computer packages (proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word).
Experience of the junior expert:- Relevant work experience of at least 3 years in human development, economic policy analysis, or governance.
- Track record in contributing to high quality policy oriented reports
- Work experience in Southern Africa
- Capacity to deliver output in a timely manner and ability to use relevant computer packages (proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word).
