Interesting data display lab from Google

Not strictly PFM but Google have an interesting site where they are experimenting with public data sets and displays - http://www.google.com/publicdata/home - and the first graph is a bottler. It is a time series of births against life expectancy. One of the best graphics I have seen for a long time. Some finance data in there but likely to expand.

On the same topic the World Bank has a brilliant new interface to its development data sets which is much easier to use and download than before - http://data.worldbank.org/?cid=EXTEAPMonth1 .

With advanced but still user-friendly softwares now individuals can create their own stunning presentations.

Here some of tools you can find on the internernet:

Attached is also an Economist article that talks about them. Enjoy it.
