Title: Addressing regional inequalities - a public expenditure perspective
Post by: John Short on July 06, 2021, 13:07:50 GMT
An interesting article "Levelling up health in the UK" by Jacqui Thornton www.thelancet.com Vol 398 July 3, 2021

It poses questions about the interrelationship between different public services in achieving improvements in health outcomes in an unequal regional context (applicable in all countries).

Should all such spending have a regional/spatial focus and be aligned and combine central and local governments within a regional/spatial budget?
