INTOSAI Working Group on Environmental Audit (WGEA)'s 17th Assembly Meeting held during October 24 to 27, 2016 in Jakarta Indonesia. The meeting included the plenary and parallel sessions on Role of SAIs in Sustainable Development Goals and compliance with Multilateral Environmental Agreements, Renewable Energy, Energy Savings, Waste Management, Market Based Instruments in Environment, Environment Assessments, Government Response to Marine Environment affected by climate change, Greening the SAIs and Improving the Quality and Impact of Environmental Audits.
The meeting approved the WGEA's Work Plan for 2017-19. The Meeting was participated by 115 participants from 50 SAIs' Head or higher management and four UN Agencies related with Environment.
