Title: noteworthy blogs on PFM issues
Post by: Napodano on April 25, 2010, 06:09:38 GMT
Let me start by saying that my favourite blog is that of Paul Krugman for the wit and sometime grit he presents his arguments (not specific on PFM though)

More specifically on PFM here my suggestions:
http://blog.pfmresults.com/wordpress/ managed by Marc Robinson with very insigthful posts on performance in MTEF
http://www.cabri-sbo.org/ the web site of the Collaborative Africa Budget Refom Initiative

On Aid effectiveness you may find interesting this one

Another good BLOG:  Public Financial Management Blog sponsored by the IMF  - lots of activity and good discussions.  http://blog-pfm.imf.org/pfmblog/

Just "discovered" a blog in which Andy Wynne  discusses developments in public audit and financial management. Apologies if it was referred to elsewhere on the Board. Very extensive post on African SAI's in August which is well worth a read.

Link to Matt Andrews Blog - his most recent post with a case study on Governance and Effectiveness is perhaps a sideways step for this forum but interesting (and fun) none the less.
