Charles Draper
« on: October 05, 2011, 20:05:27 GMT »
For those of you have been lucky to know Charles Draper, I have just received the sad news of his death.  Charles spent much of his time on trade policy, moving tariffs away from the revenue element to developing trade and less protectionism.  He was a man of great warmth and generosity of spirit and friendship.

I knew of Charles through colleagues and met him in their company. They certainly held him in high regard. I wonder if one of them was the author of his obituary?

The name Forest Cookson is at the top of the obit.  It is a name I recognise.
